A 19-year-old girl from Singapore whose weekends are filled with the invigorating sound of F1 car engines revving up on the starting grid. I share my passion through writing about the sport that I live and breathe.
The moments building up to the start of a race are the most adrenaline-inducing, not just for the drivers in their cockpits or the teams waiting anxiously on the pit wall or in the garage, but also for the spectators holding their breaths in the grandstands, and the fanatics perched on the edges of their sofas, eyes glued to the television screens at home. It is the first opportunity for drivers to completely turn the tables regardless of the position on the grid they start in; a test to see who is the most bold and the most daring to push forward as far as they can without causing a reckless, chaotic and race-ending accident; who is brave but cautious enough to squeeze his way past the cars in front of him in the pile up at the first corner. The promising, heart-stopping, nail-biting moments, where anything, and everything, is very much unpredictable. It is with this passion and admiration for Formula 1 that I bring you this blog, to pour my heart and soul into writing about a sport that encompasses drama, action and sheer intensity in a mere 2 hours (almost) every fortnight. I write and strive to perfect it because I know, and fervently hope, that it will evoke the same passion for F1 in fans and readers who love the sport as much as I do.
I would really appreciate it if you left comments and feedback on my writing or shared your own invaluable opinions! Alternatively, you could just drop by and say hi.
I hope to be able to write about Formula 1 on a professional media platform. I would be eternally grateful if you could help me take my ambition one step closer to fulfillment.
